Web Weekend Kathmandu (wwktm) is a volunteer-run community that brings together engineers, designers, ops, product managers, and founders - anyone who builds tech products. What started as a single weekend conference has grown into a year-round calendar of gatherings, all built on one belief: the best way to grow is to share what you know.
What we run
Annual conference · January
Asia’s AI community gathers in the Himalayas. A single-track conference on how people build, ship, and scale with AI - plus our signature community hike around the Kathmandu valley.
aiconf.asiaAnnual unconference · Summer
No invited speakers, no fixed agenda. The session board is built by attendees on the morning of the event - anyone can pitch a talk, a demo, or a discussion. Kathmandu’s truest community-run gathering.
barcamp.wwktm.comMonthly meetup · Last Thursday
Tech Kura Kani - literally “tech chats”. A small, informal meetup on the last Thursday of every month: one or two short talks, then open conversation over snacks.
